About Shawn, Founder
Makeup Artist/Makeup Instructor
South Florida Freelance Makeup Artist residing in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Florida area. While inspired by art work, beauty of nature, colors and animals, she loves the diversity of skin color, face shapes and eye shapes. Having self taught skills with specializations in different areas of makeup, she's always embracing new trends, knowledge and ideas in the makeup industry. Being involved in the beauty industry for 10+ years has brought rewarding experieneces with models, photographers, modeling agencies and day to day people. Whether her work takes her on location for a photo shoot, or backstage of a runway for a fashion show or to a bride's house, Shawn demonstrates her talent and desire to create a flawless style to enhance the beauty of the client. She enjoys teaching the art of makeup during one on one sessions and small groups and currently mentors several Makeup Artists. Although she enjoyed the experience of runway modeling and cosmetology at a point of her life, makeup has always been her PASSION. Shawn is said to have been destined for the beauty industry due to her natural ability to transform looks. "I love the ability to create different looks through makeup. About Carmen, Founder
Makeup Artist/Hairstylist/Colorist/Makeup Instructor
During the South Beach night life explosion of the mid 90's and early 2000's. Carmen's friend visiting from Canada "Danny Morrow" was working on many sets with a list of clientele for Hair & Make up. Danny had a hair & make up assistant cancel last minute, so guess who he woke up at 4am to be on set? Danny dragged Carmen to a set at 5am and the rest is history. Danny Morrow was a huge inspiration to Carmen. She was heavily Inspired by his talent and his confidence plus Danny saw the the raw talent in Carmen. His gut feeling was accurate she ended doing make up that day and was hired to do a shoot by herself with NO assistance for a big company. Working as a key make up artist and giving her first make up credit. It also afforded her opportunities to participate in many other high profile shoots. The entire experience encouraged this naturally gifted young lady to sign up to Cosmetology school where she excelled in her class thus obtaining her license. She has worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years. She has enjoyed teaching as a Make up Instructor and Cosmetology Instructor. Teaching is a true passion for Carmen.

Her passion in the beauty industry shows in her experimenting with the latest trends in Make-up. She spends many weekends traveling to locations to do make up for photo shoots, weddings and special events. Outside of being a Makeup Artist, she's an independent consulatnt for Mary Kay. She has a supreme ability to visualize and advise the appropriate look for each individual. She prides herself on giving her clients the perfect look to suit their personality and lifestyles.
